What does a keeper do to care for wild animals? Learn from our keepers themselves at Zookeeper Academy through keeper chats, activities and more.

Why do animals (and humans) need enrichment? It works their brains and bodies and keeps them healthy!
Make enrichment items, test your skills at the Junior Zookeeper Challenge, and learn about wildlife.
Here's the activity schedule:
10am-6pm:
Junior Zookeeper Challenge (main lawn)
11am-2pm: Food Prep tours (Wetlands kitchen)
9:30am-6pm: Enrichment tent (main path), learn keeper duties and make a pet enrichment (Cheney Discovery Center), temporary tattoos (main building), ID animal poop (Baker Cabin)
