You’re right! Grizzly bears have incredible strength. They will lift rocks to look underneath for grubs and bugs to eat. They can also use their large claws to rip into downed logs to find insects to eat as well. When grizzlies dig with their claws, they use their muscles in their back that connect to the large hump on their shoulder. Reach your arms out and pretend to dig like a grizzly bear- Can you feel the muscles in your back helping you dig?
