Conservation Volunteers

What is a Conservation Volunteer?

Participates in various volunteer conservation activities and field trips to support Northwest Trek and partner conservation efforts.

 

Duties

Conduct NatureMapping data collection, amphibian egg mass surveys, AZA FrogWatch surveys and other conservation activities.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to walk over various types of terrain
  • Must be 16 years or older to volunteer, or must be accompanied by a guardian

 

Commitment

The Conservation Volunteer agreement is informal and each program has different minimum participation requirements. Once a volunteer is on the email list, they will receive notices about upcoming conservation events and can respond to attend events as they are available.
