Bear Camp

Learn about some of the most powerful mammals in North America at Bear Camp!

Eight-year-old black bear siblings Benton and Fern will destroy a mock camp site, and grizzly bear Denali will tackle some food containers - all to demonstrate how to camp safely in areas that are home to these large predators.

You can also bring your teddy bear for a Teddy Bear Check Up from a licensed Teddy Bear-ologist and meet a Karelian Bear Dog in a special demonstration provided by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. These special dogs help protect bears by resolving bear-human conflict.

Plus, talk to representatives from Conservation Northwest and Woodland Park Zoo on Saturday, and Western Wildlife Outreach on both days.

Discovery Tram Tours are included with admission to Northwest Trek -- and you might just see some of the new babies!

All activities are FREE with admission or membership to Northwest Trek.
