Kids 'n' Critters
Bring the family!
Hold a mountain goat skull. Stroke a wolf pelt. Stagger under elk antlers. And get up close to dozens of native Northwest animals. Kids 'n' Critters is the perfect time to get your own kids close to nature at Northwest Trek, where four kids 12 or under get in free for every paying adult this weekend.
NOTE: Rescheduled from Feb. 16-18.
Feeling cabin fever? Northwest Trek is the best place to work out the winter wiggles. Ride a heated tram through our 435-acre Free-Roaming Area to spy moose and bison. Build a stick fort. Slide down a rope or climb a stump at Kids' Trek. (Note: may be closed if icy.) It's all here at Trek - and it's free for kids this weekend.
All tram rides are 30 minutes long today - the ideal kid-friendly length.
Bring your kids to meet ours! Our two grizzly bear cubs Hawthorne and Huckleberry just turned one, and they love digging, wrestling, playing and splashing. Or take a heated tram ride to the Free-Roaming Area to see our adorably fluffy mountain goat kids! (They often hang out by the lake.)
