Conservation Volunteers

Conservation volunteers are an important part of Northwest Trek and help to conduct various stewardship activities both on-site and off-site.

Description:

Participate in various conservation activities and field trips to support Northwest Trek and partner conservation efforts.

Duties:

Conduct NatureMapping data collection, amphibian egg mass surveys, AZA frogwatch surveys, Elk observation surveys and other conservation activities.

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to walk over various types of terrain.
  • Must be 16 years or older to volunteer, or must be accompanied by a guardian.

Commitment:
The Conservation Volunteer agreement is informal and has no minimum participation requirements. Once a volunteer is on the email list, they will receive notices about upcoming conservation events and can respond to attend events as they are available.
