Private and Group Events

Northwest Trek provides a fun and interactive setting for company picnics, family reunions and group visits. Our event facilities can accommodate up to 500 people in the partially covered picnic area. We offer special rates for groups of 15 or more, if you make a reservation at least 15 days in advance.

Meal Options

The Forest Cafe provides a great selection of food, from burgers and soups to sandwiches and kids’ meals. The sheltered picnic pavilion seats up to 150. There are several picnic tables in the meadow. We also offer catered meals for groups of 20 or more.

Some date restrictions:  We don’t accept group reservations on Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend, Slug Fest weekend (June 21-22), Run Wild (September 20), or Hoot ‘n’ Howl weekend (October 23-25).

Facility Rentals

We have facilities that can seat from 70 to 500 guests for company picnics, family reunions, meetings and more.

The Forest Cafe offers a warm, rustic atmosphere complete with a cozy gas fireplace. The Cafe may be reserved for after-hours catered events and provides booth-style seating for up to 70 people.

The Forest Theater is an ideal location for meetings and presentations. It accommodates up to 75 people in auditorium-style seating. Audio-visual and PA systems are also available.

The Picnic Pavilion is covered, can be heated and seats up to 150 guests with beautifully varnished picnic tables and plenty of additional picnic seating in the meadow for larger groups of up to 500.

Catering

Lancer Catering is the exclusive caterer of Northwest Trek Wildlife Park and can cater functions for up to 500 people. Lancer supports the park’s sustainable practices by using local and organic products, adhering to the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch, reducing waste, and recycling. Download the Lancer Catering menu.

Reservations for a catered meal are required a minimum of 15 days in advance of your visit and meal changes must be made within 7 business days of your visit.

Groups with a catering contract receive a special flat admission rate of $13.50 per person (2 and under free).
