Ways to give

Gifts may be made in many forms to support Trek:

  • Cash gifts in the form of either cash or checks.
  • Planned gifts such as gift annuities, trusts, and bequests are excellent ways to help Trek while offering the donor significant tax benefits. Some provide payments to the donor for life or for a period of years. Planned gifts often are directed to the Endowment Fund, which will provide an annual income stream to support Trek and its various programs well into the future.
  • Non-cash gifts such as appreciated stock, securities, real estate, life insurance, undivided interests in property, and Gifts-in-Kind offer the donor additional tax incentives as well as the opportunity to make a more significant charitable gift.
  • Tributes and Memorials provide the opportunity to remember or celebrate a friend or loved one by making a special gift in his or her name.
  • Naming opportunities are an excellent way for a donor to honor or memorialize a loved one in a more significant way by establishing a named Endowment Fund or dedicating a room, facility, or essential state-of-the-art equipment.

Your support is important to help Trek enhance the experience it offers to the public, as well as extend its conservation research efforts. See specific pages for more information. And since we can't possibly list every option, please contact Keriann Cockrell at 360-832-7182 or Keriann.Cockrell@nwtrek.org with any questions.
