Nature Trails
Experience the beautiful Northwest forest scenery on five miles of newly-enhanced paved and primitive trails. With admission to the park, you can take a short hike or follow the complete Sweet Water Spring Trail for a longer excursion. A series of signs with “you are here” maps are positioned all along the Nature Trail at frequent intervals so that hand-carried maps are not required.
Embark on a Quest
Along with the opening of the park’s improved loop trail, Northwest Trek launched a new nature-based scavenger hunt called a “Quest.” With admission to the park, Quest booklets are provided to visitors, who follow the clues to find letters throughout the nature trails.
Participants then unscramble the letters to answer a question for a surprise at the end.
