Career Day
March 6, 2010

Would you like to work with animals?

If you are a high school or college student interested in a career working around animals, you won't want to miss Career Day at Northwest Trek. Learn about the exciting careers of wildlife and zoo professionals during keeper talks, behind-the-scenes animal demonstrations, and animal enrichment. Animal care and other zoo staff will be on hand to answer the questions you bring with you and give you tips to set you on the path to your dream career. Career Day is a full-day workshop. You will be dismissed from your group at 4 p.m.

Northwest Trek invests in the future with an annual career day to help high school and college-age students investigate jobs in education and animal care. The event is free for students but participants under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult paying full admission. E-mail Jessica.Moore@nwtrek.org for more information.
