December 26 - January 1
Bundle up and bring your flock to Northwest Trek Wildlife Park during winter break this year for the 4th annual Winter Wildland celebration!
See animals throughout the park enjoy fun, winter-themed enrichments such as wreaths with assorted fruit, decorated evergreen trees with ornamental treats, wrapped gifts, ice piles, and snowmen. These special gifts are part of Northwest Trek’s animal husbandry program to help enrich the lives of the animals, encourage natural animal behavior and keep the animals mentally stimulated.
In addition to watching critters explore their enrichments, you can enjoy a narrated tour of the park's free-roaming area (from the comfort of a heated tram that will keep you toasty warm) or learn about how animals adapt to winter at the indoor, seasonally-themed Cheney Family Discovery Center.
Winter Wildland lasts from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1, so bring along any visiting friends and family!
Activities are FREE with park admission and appropriate for all ages.
